Ans. C

Infants derive pleasure from close physical contact and cuddling between the infant and mother. This attachment provides the emotional comfort to the infant and forms the basis of first attachment or bonding.  When the adult responds to the child’s needs such as meets the need for hunger. This gesture reassures and comforts the child. Such a bond will form a healthy attachment that will give the child the confidence and happiness that will enable the child to become a high self esteem adult.
