Apple Inc. is a technical MNC company which has it's headquarters in California. It is very famous for it's products like iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple watches and services like iTunes, App store, iBook store etc. It is very well advanced in social responsibility program as it always has a positive impact on the society through it's products and services.
The social responsibility of Apple Inc. can be demonstrated internally and externally.
Internal responsibility :-
Apple has some educational program for the employees so they can educate and empower themselves. The company gives proper skills to the employees so that their communication skills can be improved. The company has also taken care of labor rights and investigates carefully if any issue occurs. The company has also some Healthcare programs which can help the employees to have a healthy and safety workplace environment.
External responsibility :-
On the other hand, external responsibility includes environment protection program where Apple from the year 2014 started decreasing the power consumption by around 60% where Mac mini becomes the world's most energy efficient computer for a better future. Also for the society and environment, Apple started clean water program in the year 2014. Apple also funds technology related projects held in many academic institutions. The company launched healthcare program which prevents society regarding any disease and spreads awareness.
