The company I work for engages in and perform its Corporate Social Responsibility very effectively. Recently, the staff of our company volunteered for a charity which was helping the young children from poor backgrounds. Our company had installed donation boxes across its retail stores and promoted the charity, the work which is already done by them and which needs to be done in future and asked the customers to donate for the just cause. Apart from monetary help, we also set up some bookstalls and accepted book donations. The one month in which we ran this campaign in our company and its stores helped us in raising over a thousand dollars for the charity from our customers with an additional thousand donated by the company towards the good cause. We also managed to donate 255 books to young children.

Such a cause is worthy of our time and should be encouraged and promoted by companies. the young children are our future and hold the power of the destiny of our society in their little hands. If we nurture their young and impressionable minds with intellect and qualities like empathy and kindness today, they will grow up to be good human beings who will work for the upliftment and betterment of the society tomorrow.
