If the cars had a speed of 40 mph each, answer the following questions a. Is this an elastic or inelastic collision? Why? b. How much energy is taken up by the compression of the fronts of the cars (assume that the process is symmetric: any quantity that is not specified take its value as 1000 with the appropriate units (e.g. 1000 J)
