A client is receiving the blue screen of death. You know that there are a couple of possible root causes. Describe your iterative troubleshooting approach.

• Windows blue screen of death is a condition that displays the information about the defective or corruptive hardware.
• As a result, the system will interrupt and start displaying a blue screen with the error and then, the system will restart itself.
  Step-1:
  i. There may occur issue because of the programs that are open, there is a need to remember the task that is done before PC shows the blue screen.
  ii. There can be an issue with ventilation. This can be checked if the PC is hot or not.
  iii. There can be an issue of external devices like hard drives etc. The issue may occur because of these faulty devices.
  Step-2:
  i. After a successful reboot of the system, the deactivation of the window restart option needs to be done, so that the system does not restart when there occurs an issue again.
  ii. As soon as the blue screen appears again, there is a need for capturing the error.
  iii. After the error is captured, the error can be searched on the web to determine the issue and the resolution.
  iv. Also, in the maintenance section, there exists an option for checking the solution.
  v. The issues can be INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE (absence of drivers or Virus) or DATA_BUS_ERROR(memory failure) or OUT_OF_MEMORY(memory failure) etc.
• If still, the issue is unsolved, the system restore can help. This will roll the system software back to its previous running state.
• There may also need to check for malware issues and update the drivers, re-installing of windows or check for the hardware.
