Establishing the rapport between the trainer and the trainees

one another, it includes the understanding of skills, requirements

the learning process, throughout. Information retainment is the
basic concept we need to focus on concerning knowledge transfer.
Without the necessary rapport between the two constituents, even
when the trainer is capable, he might not be able to bring the
enthusiasm and involvement needed from the trainees, which could
mean that they might not retain all the necessary information being
presented to them. It, therefore, might end up defeating the
purpose of the interaction in the first place, creating the need
for the company to reschedule the same workshop or seminars again,
adding to their capital investment and expenses. With the proper
rapport, the trainer will find it easier to reach their audience,
keep them engaged, motivated to learn, and thereby create an
optimal transfer of knowledge.
