Boiling is a constant temperature process. The heat energy supplied goes on to convert the liquid to vapor i.e. the heat energy overcomes the intermolecular attraction forces among the liquid molecules. In case of water, the heat energy supplied breaks the hydrogen bonding interactions among water molecules. Temperature of the system does not change until all of the liquid is converted to vapor.
