Answer #1

In the case of the organization's need and use of the power, we can say that legitimate power would have the most implication, then expert power, then referent power, then reward power and coercive power would have the least yield in terms of long term use when utilized. We can say that the first and foremost need of the organization lies in its ability to make use a natural, approachable power which is earned through mutual respect and admiration rather than fear, r motivation through monetary and nonmonetary benefits. expert power would have the second-best implication over the organization since it is dependant on the leader's talent, their skills and knowledge as much as the other factors of consideration, mainly monetary benefits. We can say that while rewards and coercion can be a useful tool when we consider short term implications of their use, in the long run, it is better than the organization is motivated through the skills of the leader, through mutual acceptance and structure of purpose and function rather than the ability to provide rewards or fear.
