The player’s stick is 1m long and they are holding it at its halfway point. What is the angular velocity of the head of the stick?

As the player is holding the stick halfway point ,then the radius of the circular portion of the stick formed will be 0.5 m. Hence, the angular velocity of the head of stick is given = velocity of ball / radius . That is,

w=30/0.5=60 radians per seconds
