Why is effective and frequent communication so critical to a successful change effort? Describe either a good or a bad example of this from your organization or one that you have studied. Describe how the communication affected the various stakeholders affected by the change effort.

There is no doubt in the fact that an elective and frequent communication is very essential for ensuring that a change effort is successfully implemented:

• It facilitates trust and credibility among the employees that a change effort is being done and it is for the benefits of us.
• It provides clarity to all stakeholders that what is it that we are trying to achieve and what all efforts are being made to get to that new change position.
• Many problems can be solved then and there as while communicating the feedback would be received that would also include problems and hence a problem at the initial change would be stopped.
• Less friction and less resistance to change.

A good example is when the manual processes were going automated in the finance department of my organisation last year a constant communication was maintained between the management and the employees so that there is less resistance to change and more acceptance towards the automated processes. Communication ensured trust and credibility is maintained among the employees.
