Temperance-moderation in regard to the indulgence of the natural appetites and passions; restrained or moderate indulgence

Continence-Moderation or self-restraint, especially in sexual activity; abstinence.

Here temperance is used in case of apetite like somthing to eat or drink

Where as continence is used when feelings regarding natural habits is involved like urination, defecation, sexual desire etc
