As you sit in your chair taking an exam at a latitude of 43.0125o, you are in uniform circular motion around the rotation axis of the earth as depicted in red on the figure to the right. the radius of the earth is 6370 km. earths rotation period is 23 hours, 56 mins.

A) what is your radial acceleration?

B) as a consequence of this radial acceleration, if you hold a plumb bob from a string (which also experience the same radial acceleration), it may not hang along the direction of earths gravitational pull on the bob ( what we would call "the vertical direction") but may deviate slightly from that direction. calculate that angular deviation.
