In many ways, modern human lifestyles are at odds with our bipedal locomotion. At no point in history have humans been as inactive as today (especially in developed nations), which has led to a number of physical ailments such as obesity, loss of mobility, and lower back pain. What are some other “scars of evolution”? What are some ways we can alleviate these issues?

We human evolved but evolution is not perfect. If we consider modern day man, we are so advanced in terms of technology and living standards but due to these there are lots of problems we are facing. One of the most prevalent issue of modern day man is hypertension, due to stress of work modern lifestyle we are facing this issue, this can be resolved by regular exercise, time to time medical counselling, healthy diet and many more ways. Increase in diabetes is also one of modern day aliment which is directly related to our lifestyle, improper diet, junk foods, unhealthy living leads towards it, this can be resolved by healthy diet, regulated lifestyles, etc. Poor eye sight is also a major problem it is due to work in which our eye stresses, pollution, improper sleep, too much stress on eyes, etc, it can be helped by improving the work conditions, taking medical help, eating more vegetable and fruits, etc.

Now moving to the scars of evolution we can see that walking upright in two legs puts stresses on the legs, feet and back which results in flat feet, sprained ankles and slipped disks, these can not be completely eradicated as we can get down on our fours again but can be alleviated by medical therapy, proper exercises, proper body posture and various body supports.
