Binding of Ran-GTP to the receptor releases the cargo protein.

In cytoplasm cargo protein binds to the receptor and move to the nucleus, in nucleus interaction of Ran-GTP causes conformational changes and Cargo proteins dissociates from the receptor.

Nuclear receptor get back to the cytosol but it back with the Ran-GTP.
