I need to prepare a 4M solution of NaCl. How would I do that? Then I'd need to use that solution to prepare some other 4L volume reagent with a final concentration of 1M NaCl. How would I make that?

Answer. One mole is the molecular weight of NaCl = 58.44g

So 1M of solution equals to one mole dissolve in one litre .

So for making 4M we add 4 times molecular weight dissolve in 1 litre

58.44 ×4 = 233.74 g

So we need 233.74 g in one litre.

Also for making 4L solution from this solution we simply add 3 litre water so that the final volume will become 4L and the molarity or M will become 1M.

Role of Magnesium :- it is a cofactor of DNA polymerase, also. It help in catalyze of polymerization of DNA.
