Sleep is a vital need for human life. As how a person cannot live without water, same goes to sleep. Without sleep, the human cannot lead a healthy life. Because while sleeping our body undergoes various activities which includes repairing cells, gives rest to our brain and so on. Nowadays sleep deprivation has become a major problem around the globe, there are many reasons why an individual is unable to get enough sleep such as work life, health issues, personal problem etc. It is important for people to address what is stopping them to get enough sleep because if they find the reason then it becomes easy for them to deal with their sleep problems.

The function of sleep:

  1. It enhances the strength of our immune system to fight against foreign bodies.
  2. It repairs dead cells.
  3. Gives rest to our brain.
  4. Boosts our body for next day function.
  5. Enhances our performance.
  6. Balances our hormone.
  7. Improves the growth and development of an individual.
  8. Stabilize our blood sugar level and blood pressure.

Therefore, on the whole, sleep improves the nature of human life.
