1. True, this is because carrying capacity is the maximum no. of individuals that can be supported by an environment. Technological advances such as MRI, EEG, Ultrasound etc. have increased the life expectancy and carrying capacity by making the diagnosis of diseases more efficient. Environmental changes can decrease K because for example, a portion of the world's population would be under risk due to rising sea level, linked to global warming.

2. True, It is quite difficult for ecologists to calculate human carrying capacity because we don't reproduce, utilize resources and interact with our environment in uniformity.
