Answer #1

Every animal has its own way of living and their work-out for the search of food and daily activities which determines the calorie calculations which vary from animal to animal. As far as calorie calculations are concerned it is also related to the heartbeat of the different animals as well as the amount of blood pumping which is different in different animals that's why it varies from animal to animal.

Animals vary in their ability to obtain calories from food with the help of extraction and digestion process as well as demand and supply of the food which vary according to physical work they perform while fetching their food and performing other works. For example, Lion needs to obtain high calories to run and catch deer but small animals like goat do not need such amount of calories because goat does not perform such physical work as compared to a lion.

Only animals with a complete digestive system have evolved specialized organs for digestion. Why? incomplete digestive system (2-way) - This system has a sac-like gastrovascular cavity (GVC) with only one opening to the environment. In this system, food passes through the mouth into the GVC where extracellular and intracellular chemical digestion takes place. The GVC extends throughout the body of the animal so that as food is absorbed it is available to the tissues; no transport system is needed. Waste...
