Proteins high order structure (HOS) includes secondary, tertiary & quaternary structures. These structures defines how protein presents in three dimensions.

This is advantageous because high order structure of proteins contribute to the quality of biotherapeutics.

Examples include: Cytokines, growth factors , hormones and many other peptides.

Biotherapeutic products derived using recombinant DNA technology such as interferons, interleukins, growth factors are considered to be the safe and effective peptides used in treating many life threatening diseases.
