Answer #1

Ba(NO3)2 having one Ba+2 ion and 2 NO3- ions.

Part A: No. of moles Barium (Ba+2) ions: 6.29 mol

Part B: No. of moles of NO3- ions: 2 x 6.29 mol = 12.58 mol

Each Ba(NO3)2 have 2 Nitrogen atoms.

Part C: No. of Nitrogen atoms present: 2 x 6.29 mol = 12.58 mol Nitrogens

Each Ba(NO3)2 have 6 oxygen atoms.

Part D: No. of moles of oxygen atoms: 6 x 6.29 mol = 37.74 mol Oxygen atoms
