Molar mass of barium hydroxide = 171.34 g/ mol

Moles of barium hydroxide, Ba(OH)2, are present in 210.5g = 210.5/171.34 = 1.2285 moles.

Since one mole of barium hydroxide will give two mole of hydroxide ions , moles of hydroxide ions are present in Part 1

= 2 x ( 1.2285 ) = 2.45 7
