When we are helping someone to adjust to the living conditions in US, we first need to know about them and their culture. We need to give them the following suggestions on how to adjust in the country
1. The basic rules to be followed while interacting with anyone in the country must be explained to them as they might be accustomed to different methods.
2. People in this country are more open minded and so is the culture followed here. This is important because many people come from rigid cultures and backgrounds and find it very difficult to adjust in US.
3. It is important to maintain time management as it is very important in the companies as it is a part of the culture of the country and people judge others by their time management.
4. There will be people of various cultures in the organization and they need to learn to be diverse and open to all the cultures and treat everyone equally .
5. They must adjust to the local culture of the area they live in because it is very important to adjust to the environment in order to survive in that environment.
6. The work and the environment would be different to what they had been working till now and hence they need to adapt to the new environment.
7. They need to use the common language as many cultures are present in the country and in order to interact with everyone they need to know the common language and this is very important for them to survive in US.
