The following are Conway’s 6 tools for quality improvement:

1. Human Relations Skills: One of the important responsibilities of the top management is to motivate and train employees at all levels regarding safety improvements in the organization.
2. Statistical Surveys: One important step is to gather data on the current corporate safety culture from the employees and this can be used to identify the measure needed to be taken for future progress.
3. Simple Statistical Techniques: Statistical techniques like diagrams and charts should be used to identify safety problems, to educate and train, to check on the progress and finally look for management solutions.
4. Statistical Process Control: In order to identify safety related behaviours the statistical charting is to be used.
5. Imagineering: As the word indicates it is the visualisation of a process or procedure related to hazardous condition and through that solves the problem of unsafe work related practices. One of the main tools used is job hazard analysis.
6. Safety Engineering: In order to achieve improvements in safety techniques like engineering, administrative control and work practices are used.
