Introduction

Culture may be defined as the beliefs,, values ,, tradition , behaviour , attitude , language, priorities, practices and decision making criteria of an individual or a group imparted by the society of which the individual or group forms a part.
Cultures of each society or region varies. These differences arise due to differences in values and beliefs of people belonging to that particular society. The differences also arise due to caste, creed, religion, ethnicity, age , gender , race, etc

There are differences in the cultures of countries.
The culture practiced by countries occupying the west is called western culture . Western culture is characterized by focused , carefree, straight forward, independent , smart dynamic and talented people. In western culture gender and ethnicity does not matter in performing any kind of job.
Children are given the independence to chose any career they are enthusiastic for.
Upon crossing the age of 18 , boys as well as the girls are given the freedom to make any kind of decisions , are considered adult and are forced to start living on their own.
Academics is not considered the sole purpose of a student , rather they are allowed to have interest in any activity they want to get in and are made to participate in each activity from swimming, music to art and craft.

People in west are more focused and diligent towards their work or job. They believe at finding a balance between personal and professional life .
Success and profession is very important for them.

Code of conduct and rules, regulations are not taken so seriously.

Co education is common and relation between a boy and a girl before marriage is normal and common.

Females are given the freedom to wear any thing they like , there are no or very less restrictions on their outfits , their priorities , they areowed to stay out late night and they are allowed to engage with boys .

Western culture mostly follows nuclear families.

Religion occupies a considerable position. , not a dominant one. Christianity is the religion most commonly found.

The main language practiced in West is English .

The people in West are more health conscious and love eating outside food , they usually eat out because of no time for cooking

The workstyle of western people is also very different. They hire people not just on the basis if academic excellence but on the basis of talent, passion, skills etc.
They value money and think thst money can buy anyrhing.

The culture practiced by people in Asia is called Eastern culture.
The Eastern culture is completely different from the western.

Eastern culture is characterised by people as strict followers of tradition and religion. The features of Asians are religious , traditional ethical, intelligent, emotional , complex , followers , and compassionate.

In east gendercand ethnicity, background and social class take a dominant position before taking any decisions .

People are strict followers of religion and base their activities on thecreligious beliefs.

The priority of Asian people is family and relationships that's why they are attributed to be sensitive and emotional.

People are not straight forwards , they talk or oerform while valuing the sentiments , behaviors, attitude and

The joint families are more common , and decision taken by the seniors in familyvare considered the final , juniors cannot deny that

Rules and regulations are strickly followed , thete is a proper time for eating , waking up , coming back home etc

Females are not allowed to stay away during late hours and are expected to be home before dawn in many societies.

Seaparate institutes for males and females are preferred usually in religious families than that of Co education.

Females are not allowed to wear body revealing clothes in most of societies except few modernised and educated families.
Short clothes are not considered respectable and good for females.

The work life is kept completely separate from that of personal.

Boy and a girl are allowed to keep any relation only if they marry or they comit to marry.

Hugging guys and getting more close to boys is not considered genuine.

In east there is not one definite language spoken , each region has its own language.

In East people value relations above all. The acts of children are guided by their parents or guardians.
Independence is a concept applicable only after the person gets job or starts earning until that period children live with their parents.

East is a mix of cultures, but most dominant are ISLAM and Hinduism.

In east people are less health conscious and love eating fried food and family made food . Fenales are entrusted with the task of cooking and they cook well and know how to make different dishes. Eating out is occasional .

Muslim Culture:
People following Islam as their religion are called Muslims.
Muslim culture is considered as one of most ethical and moral based cultures where there are fast rules , strict procedures , ethical values and morality to be followed for living a quality life. It is a religion centered culture.
Muslim culture puts the religion at priority and each act of a muslim individual revolves around that religion and religious beliefs.
Muslim culture is characterised by submitting one's will to God , therefore each activity perform by muslim is considered to be performed for GOD {allah} and for reaping benefit for the hereafter world .
Muslim culture follows rules and regulations very strickly as mentioned in their holy book and act accordig to it.

Muslims have definite prayer time during the day in which they pray for goodness and health of family and friends .

Muslims observe fast for a month called Ramadhan , as a trial period for purifying themselves from sins.

Muslims view it unlawful to keep any relation with the opposite sex befire marriage.

Muslims are prohibited to eat certain kinds of food as they are attributed as Haram (unlawful).

Muslims follow a set of binding rules called sharia , these rules are consulted for taking any decision.

Senior Men of the family is considered as head of the family.

Womens are not allowed to go out without covering body and head callex (hijaab) and men are also instructed to cover body through a traditional cloth called (ahraam)

Difference between an American and Muslim girl:

An American girl observes freedom right from the childhood while a Muslim girl is subject to certain restrictions .

American girl can wear outfits of her own kind while Muslim girl is supposed to follow the religious wearing as mentioned above.

American Girl is less accountable to the decisions she makes while a Muslim girl follows strict rules and regulations.

American girl as per her culture follows Christianity (assumption) as her religion while a Muslim girl takes Islam as her religion.

The decisions about the life of an American girl are taken by her family or by herself once she crosses a particular age while for a muslim girl , the rules (sharia) and the will of her parents are taken into consideration while taking any kind of decision.

American girl can keep relation with peer boys , or shaking hands and hugging with opposite sex close to her age is a gesture of care, closeness or friendship while for a muslim girl these acts are unlawful unless the opposite sex is a blood relation or lawfully the girl's husband.
Thus muslim girl is prohibited from keeping any sort of relation from opposite sex near to her age.

American girl goes to church for praying to GOD , and muslim girl goes ro Masjid or prays at home

American and muslim girl both will be compassionate , innocent ,loving and caring depending upon the values imparted by families.

Each culture and its values should be respected and cultural differences should not be considered as a base for making realtions . each culture has its own importance and reasoning , so no culture is below or above the others .
We should love and value each culture.
Thus a muslim and a American girl can be best friends irrespective of their differences.
