Answer #1

Loneliness is defined as the distressing experience that occurs when one’s social relationships are perceived to be less in quantity, and especially in quality, than desired.

loneliness leads to poorer physical and mental health. Loneliness typically includes anxious feelings about a lack of connection or communication with other beings, both in the present and extending into the future.

Social isolation is the objective physical separation from other people (living alone), while loneliness is the subjective distressed feeling of being alone or separated. It's possible to feel lonely while among other people, and you can be alone yet not feel lonely.

Isolation is being separated from other people and your environment. Sometimes this occurs through decisions we make ourselves, or because of circumstance for example doing a job that requires travel or relocation.
