1. List few consequences, which arises due to poor planning, and explain them in your words. Give an example of any product, which failed, in the market due to poor planning. (2.5 Marks)

The consequences whicb arises due to poor planning are as follows -

1) Fails to meet customers' expectations - Poor planning can lead to the dissatisfaction of the customers and may lead to huge loss for the company and lack of connection with the customers.

2) Poor Budget planning - Poor planning can lead to inaccuracy while estimating the funds required for the project. The planned budget could be overestimated and it may lead to the failure of the project.

3) Dissatisfaction of the employees - A poor planning will also lead to the dissatisfaction of the employees as it will lead to lower their morale to work at their best because they will face problems to complete their assigned task due to poor planning.

The example of the product that failed in the market due to poor planning are -

HP TouchPad - HP Touchpad was launched by HP in 2011 but it was not well designed and it failed to compete with iPad. The lack of proper planning for design and the competition in the market led to the failure of the HP TouchPad.
