Given that ,

mean = = 4200

standard deviation = = 300

P(3700< x < 4400) = P[(3700-4200) /300 < (x - ) / < (4400-4200) / 300)]

= P( -1.67< Z <0.67 )

= P(Z < 0.67) - P(Z < -1.67)

Using z table   

= 0.7486 - 0.0475

= 0.7011
