Write a one or two paragraph essay with your thoughts on using CSS over Tables for page layouts. Do you believe that CSS is better or worse for page layouts? Why or why not?

As we all know that HTML is used of structuring a page and CSS is used for designing the web page. Even thought the HTML can provide a basic structure or layout to the web page, that simply is not enough in my opinion, which I think is blatant. This is where CSS comes in, it provides a details ,to the page layouts and makes it more readable and UX friendly. A simple table in the HTML layout will just contain cells with data and no way to differentiate the cells. With CSS, the table styling such as border size, color and design can be applied which gives a clear idea of the data and well the page more presentable.

I strongly believe that CSS is better for page layouts, well simply because presentation matters and with just simple HTML this can't be achieved. Also there are certain things which can only done by CSS, such as padding, margin and border (or simply the box model) which is an important aspect of every webpage, which is used to align the different parts of the layout. Since almost all the elements are next to each other in the layout, without this the CSS, the page looks too clustered. Thus in overall CSS in a webpage make the page more presentable and user friendly, which are the most important aspects of any webpage.
