  • Correlation coefficients are used for measuring the strength of relationship between variables.Correlation can be positive,negative and zero.A positive correlation means when both variables move in the same direction,whereas negative correlation means when one variable increases and the other decreases or vice versa.Zero correlation indicates no relationship between variables.
  • A correlation coefficient ranges from +1 to -1.If the coefficient is closer to +1,it indicates a strong positive correlation and if it is close to -1 it indicates strong negative correlation.
  • 0.75 correlation indicates a strong positive correlation.The closer the value is to +1,the sronger would be the correlation.It indicates a strong positive linear relationship between two variables.
