The major difference between prokaryotes and eukaryotes is -

a) Eukaryotes have linear chromosomal DNA, prokaryotes do not.

Explanation- The DNA of prokaryotes is arranged in circular chromosome where as in eukaryotes have linear DNA with short copies of chromosomal DNA.
