The formula to calculate are of circle in excel is: PI()*POWER(RADIUS,2)

  • where PI() is an inbuilt function with value 3.14159265
  • POWER(x,y) calculate the power of y on x ,i.e., xy

The area will be: 314.159265

The formula for calculating sin of 60 degrees is: SIN(PI()/3)

  • where PI() is an inbuilt function with value 3.14159265
  • SIN() is inbuilt function to calculate sine of values
  • 60 degrees = PI()/3

The answer of sine of 60 degrees is: 0.866025
