Answer #1

ANSWER:

FALSE:The selection of the switching frequency of a switched power supply is a relevant design criteria.

WITH THE HELP OF DEFINED RANGE OF USABLE SWITCHING FREQUENCY, THE VALUE OF FILTER COMPONENTS( CAPACITORS, INDUCTORS,ETC) AND TYPE AND RATING OF SWITCHING DEVICE IS ESTIMATED.

MOREOVER FOR BETTER EFFECIENCY OF GRID i.e., TO MINIMIZE SWITCHING LOSSES AND EFFECT OF PARASITIC COMPONENTS OF ELEMENTS, THE GRID IS DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RANGE OF FREQUENCY TO BE USED.
