molarity = 1.3M

volume of solution = 290ml

gram molar mass of NaOH = 40g/mole

molarity   = weight of solute*1000/gram molar mass * volume of solution in ml

1.3           = weight of solute*1000/40*290

weight of solute of NaOH = 1.3*40*290/1000   = 15.08g >>>>answer
