Provide laptops to the employees. I work in a strategic research and consulting firm. The location of the office has now shifted to the outer exterior of the city from the center. People come from all parts of the city and the current location is not very convenient for most of the employees. It is sometimes impossible to reach in rainy season. The laptops will help the employees to work from home in case they are not able to come to the office and will not hamper the work and the productivity of the employees.

Mechanism to track the work load on the quality analyst panel We always ensure that the power point presentations client goes through the quality check analysts before going out to the clients. We have a few senior consultants responsible for quality checks. They also have other responsibilities as their KPI’s. As a process, subordinates have to ask the quality panel two days prior to the delivery date of the presentation. The issue is, sometimes the panelists refuse to take up the quality check task stating that they are packed with other important tasks. This is genuine only 50% of the time only. I intend to suggest to my supervisor, a tracker should be created in which an email is sent to the respective quality panelist for the quality check task. He/she needs to accept it or reject it within the email itself stating the reason if rejected. At the end of the month we can track the rejections and acceptances for a particular panelist and they should be able to justify it in case of too many rejections.

Shuttle till the nearest station Due to the location of the office it takes longer, and parking is a problem using the car. It will be quicker to use office shuttle for employees travelling from trains. I intend to suggest to my supervisor that we offer office shuttle. Thank you in advance

An operational memo is written by the department head/ organizational head to the concerned employees.

The employees of our office, have to travel from far flung places, leading to more travelling time, while reducing their productivity. A lot of time is wasted in traveling since the relocation of the office place.

It is suggested that laptops are provided and " work from home" facility is introduced for our employees. This is help in saving the energy of the employees and the same can be translated meaningfully while they work. Secondly, shuttle facilities can be introduced from the nearby railway station to help the employees reach office in time , considering that most of the employees travel by train.

The panelists must also be requested to stick to the deadline for checking any shortcomings in the presentations before they are handed over to the clients.This will help in deceasing errors while ensuring that we are committed to our deadlines set while convincing our clients.
