Which sets up the rank with respect to the hierarchy of the person or the manager. All the positions in this type of bureaucratic organizations are kept as top-down order which only allows the information to flow from the down level (that is from the employees level) to the top level (CEO or the management level). And also only orders are passed from the top CEO and management level. So the prestige in these bureaucratic organizations is usually synonymous with the rank of the individual in the hierarchy.
