In case of chlorophyll extracted from spinach leaves, while measuring the absorption maximum you will get two significant peak at around 450-470 nm and another one is around 650 - 660 nm. Normally here chlorophyll is a mixture of chlorophyll a and chl b. This peak is the mixture of chla and chl b.

And for the lycopene extracted from the tomato, we will have absorption maximum at around 470 -475 nm.
