This question concerns with the two basic type od data in Artificial intelligence analysis.
Qualitative Data: this type of data is basically concerned with the characterstics of data rather than the measurement of data.
It categorizes the data on its qualities , features,etc.
In AI , it is very important in researches that the data which is being analysed is of what form, its characterstics in order to study in a better way.
For Example, If we create a software that studies the color of eyes or texture of skin . This type of analysis requires a qualitative analysis.
Quantitative Data:This type of data concerns with the measurement and amount of data. As we know when we want to create a AI analysis , we study it in terms of how much , in what quantity, etc.
For example,
A software or AI research needs the population of an area .This population is measured in the number of people which is a quantitative value.
