Hello! Could you help me go trough the steps of this question?
You have a solution of formic acid. The solution has been prepared by dissolving 6.90 g of pure
formic acid in water to the total volume, V = 1.00 L.

a) Calculate the solution pH.
(I want to put this in a table, but what will happen with the initial step of the RICE table? It did not start on M, i got it in g....)

b) You want to mix into a buffer solution consisting of this formic acid solution and a salt of
the corresponding base of the acid, sodium formate. The buffer solution should have pH = 3.90.
Calculate the appropriate concentration ratio between formic acid and sodium formate required in
buffer solution.
c) How much sodium formate should you use if you dissolve the salt in the formic acid solution
total volume 1.00 L?

Thank you so much in advance!
