Answer #1

1. Electroencephalograph (EEG) shows brain function. It monitors electrical activity and detects the pattern of brain waves. It can help diagnose conditions like seizures, epilepsy, head injuries, dizziness, headaches, brain tumors and sleeping issues.
2. Computed tomography (CT scans) shows brain structure. It produces multiple, cross-sectional X-ray images of specific areas of the body. It is useful for detecting injuries, tumors, blood clots, excess fluid, or infection.
3. Magnetic resonance imaging (MR) shows brain structure. It combines strong magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of the body. Luke the CT scan, it isuseful for detecting injuries, tumors, blood clots, excess fluid, or infection. It can be used safely for pregnant women.

4. Position emission tomography (PET) ablws brain function. It uses special dye containing radioactive tracers to track activity in specific areas of the body. Because it works at the cellular level, it is useful for diagnosing conditions before other procedures can.

No Lie MRI believes that neuroscience-and specifically, fMRI technology-will reshape forensic science and courtroom pro- cedures. Old-fashioned polygraph lie detector tests are only moderately accurate; with fMRI technology, you can essentially peer inside a person's mind and see what he or she is thinking You can "see" who is telling the truth...
