1. Line drawing approach is used to resolve the moral controversy. This approach is a kind of paradigm case, it is a form of argument, which leads to different views of two people on same topic which makes it meaningless.

Here is an example of Victor, who select ACME rivets to build large apartment buildings. But after that day, the representative of the company came to Victor and give him a voucher for jamaica. This is a paradigm case, as after giving the voucher they were offered the job. So a question rise, if Victor gave offer of ACME or did they just thanking him for offering the job.

To resolve this paradigm case they use line drawing approach by making table or chart which includes what the things is to be looking for, size of gift etc. with two possible solutions and after drawing the lines between both and place 'X' near the one belongs to it, then we can decide the things as well as company can do also.
