The body of spider is divided into two segments. The segment, lying at the front is known as cephalothorax. This front segment contains eyes, fangs, stomach, brain, legs and glands responsible for making the poison .

The second segment is known as abdomen. The end of abdomen consists of spinnerets, the gland which is responsible for making silk.
