Communication is a skill that has been learned. While most individuals are born with the physical capacity to speak, it is not possible for everyone to communicate well unless they make unique attempts to further develop and refine this skill. Very often, we take for granted the ease with which we interact with each other, so much so that we sometimes forget how complicated the method of communication is.

Clearly, a sender, message, channel, receiver, feedback, context are several significant components in the communication process. Listening abilities are therefore just as essential as talking abilities to be efficient in communication.

Oral communication includes transmitting ideas, thoughts or data through a language that is spoken. However, data is exchanged in written communication using written symbols, that is, through words and phrases. Written communication is the sharing and exchange between people or groups of written symbols.
It is also presenting thoughts in written form in a consistent way.

Writing also implies that data can be stored and transmitted without relying on memory from person to person and group to group. Records can occur separately from the writer through the written word.
The written document also enables you stay up-to-date with growth in whatever project you are engaged in as it offers an avenue not only for exchanging thoughts or views, but also for presenting and defending points of view.
Written communication can also serve as a form of recognition a evidence that something has been done in the event that verification is later required

However, written communication presents difficulties such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, writing style, and real wording. Fortunately, today's technology creates a breeze for writing memos, reports, letters and suggestions by offering instruments that can verify and even correct mispelt phrases and incorrect grammar.

If there is no efficient communication, progress and prosperity will come to a standstill. Communication is a factor in creating excellent ties and retaining them. It makes it possible for individuals to know each other. Communication in individual lives is as essential and meaningful as it is in society. People create friends, build relationships and lead a real social life
