This chapter discussed multiple types of intelligence and intelligence tests. Gardner identified 9 different types of intelligences. Choose one type of intelligence and describe how you would test it. For example, if I were to test movement intelligence I may show a group of dancers a dance routine and score them according to how well they performed.
Discussion W1 - Multiple Intelligences Watch Howard Gardner's video on Multiple Intelligences and answer the following questions: 1. How is the concept of multiple intelligences relevant to the world of business? How is it relevant to leading others? 2. Which type of intelligence that Gardner speaks to do you feel is most important in the business world to have, and why?
According to Gardner, there are eight theories of intelligence. Describe one type of intelligence and what occupation someone with a strength in that area might excel at. Please list references
Provide real-world examples for the following types of intelligence as theorized by Gardner: verbal/linguistic, body-kinesthetic (movement), and logical/mathematical. Explain why each example represents one of the types of intelligence. Present some of the arguments critics have offered against Gardner's research.
Write about your thoughts comparing Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligence with Sternberg's triarchic theory of intelligence. Where do you see your own intellectual strengths and weaknesses.
Describe the concrete-operational period. Provide an example. Describe the formal-operational period. Provide an example. Review Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Describe what you would add to improve this theory. Review Sternberg’s Triarchic Theory. Describe what you would add to improve this theory. Evaluate the genetic/hereditary and environmental factors that influence intelligence. Identify and describe 2 hereditary factors. Identify and describe 2 environmental factors. Determine your position on which set of factors (hereditary or environmental) has the most influence on intelligence....
SUBJECT IS PSYCHOLOGY Need completed by Sunday April 28th, 8PM EST. Any help will help, thanks! Discussion Chapter 7: Types of intelligence For this post, first watch the Ted talk by Richard Turere. As you are listening to him and his experience, what types of intelligence that were discussed in this unit do you see in him? Think of many different types of intelligence as you can and explain why you think Richard displays that type of intelligence. Secondly, choose...
Develope your own theory of intelligence. (Do not merely “steal” from the other theorists). Please write a paper proposing your own theory and then create an intelligence test. Your test should assess more than the abilities required to succeed academically. In addition, you should describe in your paper: (a) the rationale and components (i.e., distinct aptitudes or abilities) of the test, (b) how you would standardize the test and determine its reliability and validity, (c) note any similarities or differences...
