Answer #1

Answer

∆Hcond = -30 kJ/mol

Explanation

Mass of bromine = 86.3g

Molar mass of bromine = 159.81g/mol

Number of moles of bromine = 86.3g/159.81g/mol = 0.5400mol

Enthalphy of vaporization at b.p = (16.2kJ/0.5400ml)×1mol = 30kJ/mol

Enthalphy of condenzation(∆Hcond) = -Enthalphy of vaporuzation(∆Hvap)

∆Hcond = - 30kJ/mol
