Answer #1

Here nerve impulses are propagated through action potential in a systematic manner through depolarization and repolarization processes. Here during depolarization process electrical charge distribution changes as more positive charge is present inside of the cell than outside due to inflow of sodium ions rapidly negative charge decreases inside and finally nerve impulse propagated that is known as action potential.

Here several factors are involved for inhibit depolarization process.

-Decreased sodium permeability of membranes

-Decreased sodium, potassium concentration in extracellular fluids

-High extracellular calcium levels(here high calcium levels  blocks sodium channels inhibit the depolarization process and finally increases the threshold of depolarization)

-Decreased PH level in blood acidosis
