2. Identify at least three advertisements or marketing ploys that are designed to stimulate you through sex, hunger, or achievement themes.
3. In a paper, describe the advertisements and cut and paste images from the advertisements into the document. Do not post any sexually explicit ads or derogatory ads.
4. In a careful and critical analysis, connect what you read in the chapter to the content of the ads. Use terms from the chapter to connect to what you identify in the images, text, instructions, or design. Also discuss which advertisements were most stimulating to you personally and why.
5. Write a paper of at least one page (double spaced with normal margins and font size, not including headers and footers). The pasted images do not count towards your written length of one page.

McDonald's - New Bacon Smokehouse Burger

It is an advertisement regarding McDonald's new variety of burger that is made with apple wood smoked bacon, crispy onion strings, sweet and smoky onion sauce, cheddar cheese and mustard sauce. This advertisement features a delicious and mouth watering burger that is so tempting to eat. Advertisement of food products focus on leveraging sensual appeals such as taste, texture, smell and sight thus influencing the viewers to purchase and consume it.

Puma - The Future is Yours

This advertisement shows a famous football player Antoine Griezmann playing football by wearing the puma shoes. Sports marketing focus on influencing people who are in the sports field to buy the products by using successful sports players as model in the ad. It also influences the viewer's achievement motivation to be successful like the person whom they see on the advertisements.

Calvin Klein - Secret Obsession

This advertisement is about a perfume and it portrays a women who is very attractive and sexy. When advertisements use such attractive models, it influences the viewers to purchase the product because they believe that they would also feel like the model shown. It also attracts the opposite gender, for example this advertisement attracts men more so it focuses on influencing people who wants to feel attracted.

The advertisement that I felt most stimulating was the McDonald's advertisement because it was so tempting for me to try that burger. As I am a big foodie, I like to eat burgers and pizza so I was very much influenced by the way they showed the burger to be filled with juicy, smoked bacon and the burger fillings full of different flavors.
