Answer #1

Given the mass of NaHCO3 = 0.372 g

=> Moles of NaHCO3 = mass/molar mass = 0.372 g / 84.007 g/mol = 0.0044282 mol

Since the coefficient of both NaHCO3 and NaCl are 1, the mole ratio is also 1:1

=> Moles of NaCl formed =  0.0044282 mol NaHCO3 * (1 mol NaCl / 1 mol NaHCO3) = 0.0044282 mol NaCl

=> Mass of NaCl formed = mol * molar mass of NaCl = 0.0044282 mol * 58.44 g/mol = 0.259 g

Hence theoretical yield of NaCl = 0.259 g (Answer)
