Discussion Question 7.2: After researching PMI certifications, what level would you be interested in pursuing and why? If you are not interested in pursuing certification, explain your reasoning.

After researching PMI certifications the one level I would love to start with is the PMP certification as a starting point, as for being able to reach next levels one must clear the most basic PMI certification which is project management professional certification level, after which there is PgMP(program management professional), PfMP(Portfolio management). All these certifications one would love to do but only after he or she is a certified Project management professional, and have some experience doing that.

one more advantage of doing PMP certification is that one can find PMPs leading projects in every country where as other certifications focus on a particular geography or domain which PMP is not restricted to, as a PMP certified you can work in any industry with any methodology.
