Constraints are those things or situations which would restrict us from achieveing what we desire. So, if i have choice to do anything without any constraint then i would some things to change the design of my organization where i worked.
My organization is high fashion designer cloth retail store like Zara but at small level.The constraint which stop my organization to grow were finance, poor compensation to employees, lack of quality materials in manufacturing so thing i would change in my organization is use of finance.
I would first allocate the finace in purchasing a manufacturing facility near by location so that my store would be able to have its own production as well as distribution point. my store will be produce as well sell designer clothese to customers.
second change would be change the organization strucure which is currently flat but in future without constraint, i would make my retail store into functional structure in which i would divide the organization into function departments like marketing, sales,HR, account and finance.
third change would be introducing good compensation for its employees because i think having employees satisfied with pay show higher performance and increase sales of my stores.
fourth change in my organization would be source only high quality material to make clothes because i do not have constraint so i would want to purchase the best quality raw material.
some other changes would be having clear line of communication from Top to bottom where top management make policies and rules for better operations of my store and employees follow that.
