Mill use the principle of utility to make clear the understanding of utilitarianism and to remove the misconception about it. As per principle of utility in order to determine the right or wrong act, it could be ascertained by its impact on human happiness. So mill emphasised on the outcomes of actions rather than ethical sentiments. Those acts which created unhappiness or pain they are wrong, unethical and not acceptable at all.

Mill described that the quantity of the emotions of justice is proportionate to utility, and that correct exist due to they are essential for people happiness. It will lead to peace society and helps in maintaining social justice and As per principle of utility, every person has liberty to do whatever they want provided that their acts should not harm others and their sentiments. This way people in society can maintain social justice. If everyone will do right and good acts they will give their efforts in development of good society and social justice will take place.
